UPPCS Modern History Gap Sheet: Gandhian Movements, Step by Step.

UPPCS has asked 38 of these. 2 have not been asked yet. Lock the first list, then read the second: it holds what UPPCS has not used yet.

First, the concept

Gandhi's method had a rhythm: a mass struggle, then a pause for constructive work, then a bigger struggle. Non-Cooperation (1920–22), pause, Civil Disobedience (1930–34), pause, Quit India (1942).

Each big movement had regional faces. UPPCS asks these side stories too (Dharasana, Ballia, Tamluk), not only the main dates.
