UPPCS Modern History Gap Sheet: Tribal and Civil Revolts.
UPPCS has asked 20 of these. 8 have not been asked yet. Lock the first list, then read the second: it holds what UPPCS has not used yet.
First, the concept
Tribal revolts had one root: outsiders (dikus) — moneylenders, traders, forest officers — took land and forests that tribes had held in common. Revolts were fierce, local and led by a leader seen as divine.
UPPCS asks the pair: revolt — leader, or revolt — region. Learn each as one line.

⚠️ Birsa Munda led the Ulgulan; Sidhu and Kanhu led the Santhals — both in today's Jharkhand. Alluri Sitarama Raju is Rampa (Andhra), not Kerala. The Moplah revolt was in Malabar, Kerala.
